At Tiny Stays, we offer more than just a place to sleep, we create off-grid escapes that help you slow down, unplug, and reconnect with nature and each other. This thoughtfully designed tiny house is powered by the sun and located in the native bush of Chum Creek, just 10 minutes from the heart of Healesville.
Enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by eucalyptus trees, rolling hills and local wildlife, you'll be greeted by kangaroos and farm animals. Explore the Yarra Valley’s wineries and breweries, or walk among the towering trees of the nearby forests. Whether you're relaxing with a book or exploring Healesville Sanctuary, it’s a true nature escape.
Inside, you’ll find everything you need: a comfy queen bed with soft linens, a full kitchen with fridge and stovetop, a hot shower, composting toilet, and a stash of books and board games. There’s also a BBQ and a firepit (seasonal) for evenings under the stars.

The Perfect Reset
We had the most incredible stay at this tiny home! Every single detail was thoughtfully considered, from the high-quality linens to the super comfy bed. The weather was beautiful, allowing us to spend most of our time sitting outside watching the sunset and cooking on the BBQ. The highlight was definitely the wildlife. We were greeted by friendly farm animals and saw a slew of kangaroos all over the property! Our little doggo had the time of his life. It is so rare to find a tiny home that is fully fenced, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing he was safe while we relaxed (we still had him leashed to a dog run, can't be too careful). Loved this experience!
Perfect place to getaway
My partner and I arrived at night, when we woke up, we were in paradise! Fog over the beautiful hills, kangaroos, birds singing and the best of all were the very friendly cows and horses that greeted us. It was so tranquil and beautiful, we will definitely be coming back, we loved it.
Best 30th Mini Vacation!
It was our first time going to a tiny house in the middle of a beautiful field with animals, hills, and fresh air! We LOVED it and we simply cannot wait to do it again!

We were thrilled with this slice of paradise, had everything we needed and more. With the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere but 10 minutes down the road had access to everything it was the perfect mix!
A Most needed getaway
Tiny stays in Healesville is a wonderful place to spend a couple of days away from the busy , stressful life... you can enjoy the nature , wild life and friendly animals throughout your stay. This was our very first adventure as a mature couple and we enjoyed our stay so much. Hope to try the other Tiny stay accommodations in the future... Definitely a great place to spend a quality time with your loved once ..

Amazing experience
The Healesville Tiny House was so lovely. A beautiful location, surrounded by nature and wildlife. It was such a joy to wake up to the calls of the kookaburras and see the kangaroos (and their joeys) grazing outside. The house was so cute and comfy. Would definitely recommend the house for a nice, relaxing and peaceful solo getaway!
Wedding Anniversary
Great place to unplug, unwind and reset. It was like the wildlife and animals came to see us on que, from the Kangaroo's as we drove in, to the ducks waddling past along with cows and horse popping in to say hello. We snuck into town for dinner, heading back early to light the fire while the sun set over the hills. Great tiny house that was very comfortable coming home recharged, perfect midweek getaway for our 9th wedding anniversary. Will be booking again..........
Happy Anniversary
Just came back from a one nights stay for our wedding anniversary and feels like I have been on holiday for a week. So nice relaxing and recharging in such a beautiful environment. Will definitely put the other tiny houses on my to do list. Can not recommend highly enough xx
